PHUKET IDC OVERVIEW

"Are you thinking to have a new lifestyle or getting a new passport for Thailand to contemplate a nice sunset on a tropical beach"? So get in our Phuket IDC! The IDC is a program which focuses on preparing candidates to function as PADI Assistant Instructor and/or Open Water Scuba Instructors. The PADI IDC provides individuals who already possess instructor-level dive theory, role model watermanship and rescue skills, and leadership abilities, with additional training that allows them to implement the PADI System in confined water, classrooms and open water environments. It also helps instructor candidate to gain a complete understanding of the PADI's educational goals and philosophies.

Prerequisites to enroll this course:

Be at least 18 years old
Be PADI Divemaster or leadership from an other organization
- BSAC (Club Instructor or higher)
- CMAS (one star Instructor or three star diver)
- MDEA, NAUI, PDIC, SSI, SAA (Instructor Grade 2 or higher)
Be fit for diving and submit a Medical, conducted within last 12 months.
Been a certified diver for at least 6 months and logged 60 dives.
Submit proof of CPR and first aid within last 24 months

All the other required material will be avaible for you before and during the IDC. (If you don't have time to purchase the material mentioned just above, please make sure when you arrive in Phuket, to get it with me few days before the course starts since you will have to do some pre-studies.)

PHUKET IDC SCHEDULE

The Phuket IDC programs are preceded after the orientation, by an IDC preparation course since many candidates didn’t review for a while, their theory and practicing their skills demonstrations. Don’t forget that the theory will be not taught during the IDC and you should revise it before. The IDC is a 12 days program and is divided into two parts; the Assistant Instructor portion (6 days) and the Open Water Scuba Instructor Section/Crossover (6 days). Finally our Phuket IDC has a day as an IE preparation course. It is then followed by an Instructor Examination here in Phuket. IDC Schedule
