EMERGENCY FIRST RESPONSE or EFR INSTRUCTOR

Because several PADI courses require students to have CPR and first aid training, becoming an emergency first response instructor allows you to offer all-inclusive programs. Students will no have to look elsewhere for the training they need. Emergency first response and care for children are not specific to diving, you can offer this training to all your customers, friends and families.

The EFRI program is usually run at the last two days of an IDC, including the EFR and CFC. If you are interested to take part, even you are not following the preceding IDC in Phuket, just look at my schedules and contact me. To enroll in this program?

• Have completed the EFR Primary care course within the past 24 months.
• Have completed the EFR Secondary care course within the past 24 months.
• Have completed the EFR CFC course within the past 24 months.
• If doing a crossover program the participant must hold a current CPR/first aid instructor rating with another organization.

PADI SPECIALITY INSTRUCTOR & MASTER SCUBA DIVER TRAINER

Earning PADI Speciality Instructor ratings allow you to teach a wide range of exciting courses in special interest areas. Besides giving you the chance to do your favourite type of diving, speciality diver courses allow you to share your interest and expertise with others. Taking speciality instructor training courses with Alain in Phuket after your IDC will provide you with practical experience for conducting these programs. The courses emphasize on the in-water application and marketing and take a day. I schedule them after the IDC or the IE program. To enroll in this program?

• Be a renewed PADI Assistant Instructor, PADI Instructor or have completed an IDC or OWSI program within the past 12 months.
• To attend the PADI Enriched Air Instructor, the candidate must show proof of a PADI Enriched Air Diver certification or hold another qualifying certification from another organization.

Master Scuba Diver Trainer’s rating is without any doubt what you are aiming for, as the instructor's market is getting bigger. You will have to follow a miniature Thailand IDC over five days including 5 Specialties Instructor, having at least ten logged dives on the specialities done, some experience in teaching and then you will be eligible to send your application to PADI. Remember that the dive center owners or managers, here in Thailand, are looking for the most employable instructor. So get all the possible cards in your hands, you maybe one of them.

Choice of the specialities: Nitrox, Deep, Wreck, Navigation, Night, Multilevel, Photography, Oxygen provider.

IDC STAFF INSTRUCTOR COURSE

The IDC Staff Instructor rating is awarded to PADI Master Scuba Divers Trainers who have successfully completed an IDC Staff course. These instructors work closely with the Course Director to develop instructor candidates teaching abilities and as well shaping their attitudes as dive professional. The IDC Staff Instructors are improtant team members in the instructor training process and their actions and professionalism, will greatly influence on how the candidates will conduct themselves as PADI professionals. The staff candidates learn how to be effective mentors for the IDC candidates and the dive community in general. As a staff instructor you may staff instructor development programs and instructor-level continuing education programs. You can also teach the PADI Assistant Instructor course – a responsability only you and a PADI Course Director are sharing.

Our course gives you at least two full days with Alain prior to take part in an IDC program. Even if you don’t have the goal of becoming a Course Director, This will give you a real vitamin injection in your existing teaching techniques. To enroll in this program?

• Be a renewed and in teaching status PADI Instructor for the current year.
• Hold a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer rating
• Agree to conduct all levels of diver training consistent with the standards and philosophy outlined in the PADI Instructor Manual
• Agree to use the PADI System and components in its entirety.
